Songfacts®:

  • This is the first single from Atlanta-based heavy rock band Sevendust's eight studio album, Cold Day Memory. It was debuted on Sirius XM's Octane station on February 5, 2010.
  • The lyrics are about a damaged relationship, full of lies and disappointment: "I want the world to see / You sold a broken dream / You were not there for me / I was unraveling."
  • Cold Day Memory is the first Sevendust album that features guitarist and vocalist Clint Lowery since 2003's Seasons. He said: "This record personally has been one of the most difficult, but most rewarding records I've ever worked on. I put a lot of pressure on myself to contribute good material to the guys after being gone for last three records and that helped me focus more than I ever had."
