Songfacts®:

  • Running to around 4 minutes 17 seconds, "Rendez-Vous With Death" is Track 7 on the 1982 Firedance album. Twenty-four years after its release, drummer Chris Logan told author John Tucker it was "a strange track" that was recorded for a BBC session without keyboards, just live drums, bass and guitars, the latter with pedals.

Shiva did in fact record a session for The Friday Rock Show but "Rendez-Vous With Death" did not make it onto the demo. >>>
