Corona And Lime

Album: Shwayze (2008)
Charted: 23

  • This features Cisco Adler, formerly the frontman for the band Whitestarr. Prior to the release of the single, Adler had been featured heavily in the tabloids because of his relationships with celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Mischa Baron.
  • This became a hit as a result of its exposure on Buzzin', an MTV reality series starring starring Shwayze and Adler.
  • Shwayze told Pop Culture Madness that "Corona and Lime" is a metaphor for love." Corona is a brand of beer often drunk with a wedge of lime.
  • This references Dutch trance producer DJ Tiesto in the lyric, "Bump techno by DJ Tiësto." Tiesto's 2004 single "Traffic" was the first instrumental track to reach #1 in the Netherlands for 23 years.
