Songfacts®:

  • This track features rappers Lil' B, who is a member of Californian Hip-Hop group The Pack, and Arab, who is part of the S.O.D. Money Gang alongside Soulja Boy.
  • Soulja Boy explained to Billboard magazine how the song's start-stop beat was made in a different style than he was used to working with. "I was in Los Angeles and Arab came to my house, and we tried his new beat machine," he said. "'30 Thousand' was the first beat that I made on the actual beat machine. We went into the studio that night and that was it, straight mastery. That was one of the ones where I felt the energy."
