    Hackett told Songfacts that it's about they dynamic between he and a friend when they were 9 years old. "It's really about young life, and that time that you go through when one minute someone is your best friend, and then the next minute they just want to finish you off," he said. "That sort of aspect of young life at school."

  • Hackett wrote this song with his wife, Jo Hackett, who has been writing songs with him since Steve's album Wolflight in 2015.
