Songfacts®:

  • This was released as the first single from British electronic musician Sub Focus' second studio album Torus. It was made available on December 14, 2011, as a free digital download through RAM Records and Mercury Records. The track was re-released half a year later as an EP alongside remixes from Nick Thayer, xKore and Sub Focus himself.
  • The song features soulful vocals from Boston-born and London-raised singer-songwriter Kenzie May.
  • Sub Focus told the story of the song to MusicRadar.com: "This tune began with the synth chords in the breakdown. This was originally something that I wrote for the track that I did with Chase & Status on their last album called 'Flashing Lights.' I really loved the part, but we decided that it didn't fit, so it was left over. This tune stemmed from there."
