Songfacts®:

  • "The Assumption Song" was written by Vito Petroccitto Junior; this humorous ditty has been performed by the Canadian band The Arrogant Worms, and has also been animated by some clever videos. Similar in both innuendo and content to the earlier "Big Five" by (the radio barred) Judge Dread, and the later "Wendy's C-nt Song," it follows a pattern which appears to have been pioneered - in song at any rate - by Oscar Brand with his classic "The Four Letter Words." >>>
