I Can't Stay

Album: Day & Age (2008)

  • This song addresses the pain frontman and songwriter Brandon Flowers feels when he is forced to leave his family back home in Las Vegas when the band are touring.

  • Brandon Flowers commented on the album's publicity materials that this song, "could be the most perfect pop song we've ever written."
