Songfacts®:

  • This a promotional track from Metallic Spheres, a collaboration album between The Orb and Pink Floyd's David Gilmour. The Orb first liaison with Pink Floyd came when they remixed "Runaway," a track by Gilmour's former bandmate Richard Wright in 1996. In 2009 Gilmour teamed up with The Orb on the online single, "Chicago - Change the World," which was recorded to promote awareness of the plight of computer hacker Gary McKinnon. Afterwards the two acts decided to collaborate on an album, which was recorded at Orb member Youth's south London, England studio. The end result was the ambient disc, Metallic Spheres, to which Gilmour contributed electric guitar and lap steel.
