Songfacts®:

  • This track tackles the topic of terrorism. It was inspired by a question from The Script guitarist Mark Sheehan's seven-year-old son. Sheehan told The Sun:

"That song started because my son came home from school one day after practicing drills in case of a terrorist attack. He asked me: 'What is terrorism?' and it really shocked me. I wasn't expecting it but I guess it's the norm now."
  • The song is one of several on the Freedom Child album influenced by current affairs. "Our freedom has been attacked," Sheehan told OfficialCharts.com regarding the need for a political slant to the record. "Our creative, sexual and religious freedoms have been under attack from different enemies and as a band we have to have a message about that. We are so bombarded by the negative you have to believe in the power of music to have meaning and to heal."
