Fantasy Island

Album: Heartworms (2017)

Songfacts®:

  • One of the lyrical themes that pops up several times on Heartworms is that of regret. Shins frontman explained to The Toronto Sun: "It's not because I regret things, but can see how things could have happened very differently quite easily... so the subject of regret is on songs like 'The Fear' and 'Fantasy Island.' It's an alternate universe version of myself I guess."
