My Christmas Tree

Album: Merry Christmas (1965)

  • Jimmy Webb's first songwriting contract was with Jobete Music, the publishing arm of Motown Records. He worked at their West Coast office and in two years there wrote 45 songs. "All the technical aspects of songwriting, I learned right there at Motown," Webb told American Songwriter magazine.
