Super Womble

Album: Superwombling (1975)
Charted: 20
  • This is a song about a Womble who thinks he's Superman! Whereas Superman cleans up the neighbourhood and the Universe of the bad guys, Super Womble clears up, er, rubbish from the rooftops! Having said that, the song includes a passable guitar solo. Nobody ever said Mike Batt and friends couldn't play.
"Super Womble" was released on the CBS label in August 1975 backed by "The Orinico Kid". >>
