Album: No Devolucion (2011)

Songfacts®:

  • American rock band Thursday's sixth studio album, No Devolución theme of devotion was partly inspired by difficulties in vocalist Geoff Rickly's marriage. He said, "There's a lot of breakup records out there that only address the end of relationships, and I think the theme of devotion doesn't get explored that often. If devotion is the theme, the new record is a prism that's being used to refract all of its different aspects."
  • This song explores the concept of carrying on a friendship with a past lover. "When you're with someone so long, there's more important levels to the relationship than simple romance," said Rickly to the New Jersey Herald.
