  • This is the third single by British rapper Tinie Tempah, taken from his debut album Disc-Overy. The song features collaborator and writer Eric Turner.
  • Tempah debuted the song live on June 17, 2010 on Sony Ericsson's Pocket TV. The Londoner explained: "'Written in the Stars' is a real passionate track about the sort of struggle that I've had to face. You know I just really feel it as something to perform at festivals as well so I thought I might as well get my practice and start warming up now."
  • The song got it's first radio play on August 10, 2010 with MistaJam on Radio 1xtra.
  • For those of you not familiar with the vocalist Eric Turner, he is the lead vocalist of Swedish-American rock band Street Fighting Man, who are based in Stockholm, Sweden. It can be safely assumed they are Stones Fans.
