This is the third single by British rapper Tinie Tempah, taken from his debut album Disc-Overy. The song features collaborator and writer Eric Turner.
Tempah debuted the song live on June 17, 2010 on Sony Ericsson's Pocket TV. The Londoner explained: "'Written in the Stars' is a real passionate track about the sort of struggle that I've had to face. You know I just really feel it as something to perform at festivals as well so I thought I might as well get my practice and start warming up now."
The song got it's first radio play on August 10, 2010 with MistaJam on Radio 1xtra.
For those of you not familiar with the vocalist Eric Turner, he is the lead vocalist of Swedish-American rock band Street Fighting Man, who are based in Stockholm, Sweden. It can be safely assumed they are Stones Fans.
Angus Young created the distinctive opening guitar part for "Thuderstruck" by playing with all the strings taped up, except the B. He learned the studio trick from his older brother George Young, who was the rhythm guitarist for The Easybeats.
The Frozen song "Let It Go" was recorded in 42 different languages for the movie's foreign releases. This earned it an entry in the 2016 Guinness World Records publication for "Most Languages Featured on a Single."
If counterpoint and polyrhythms are your thing, you might love these guys. Even by Progressive Rock standards, they were one of the most intricate bands of the '70s. Then their lead singer gave us Bon Jovi.
