This is a track from American R&B artist Trey Songz's third studio album, Ready.
The song is about not breaking a commitment between two people that love each other. Songz dubbed this to Billboard magazine, "a classic love song."
Songz has also described this as a male version of Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You" Blige's Grammy winning tune was co-written by this song's producer Bryan Michael Cox and Ready executive producer Johntá Austin.
John Lennon's lead guitar work on Yoko Ono's "Walking On Thin Ice" proved to be his final creative act. It was upon their return home after completing laying down the track that Lennon was murdered by Mark David Chapman.
When "Nothin' On You" reached #1 on the Hot 100, B.o.B became the first American act whose name is a palindrome to top the chart. The other two who did so prior to the Atlanta rapper were both Scandinavian groups - ABBA and A-Ha.
