  • Zayn Malik introduces his debut solo album with the minute-long title track, which then segues into "Pillowtalk" He explained the title, saying: "It's really reflective of the whole experience that I want to give the listener. I wanted it to be almost like a brainstorm. It's just music and it's just whatever you're feeling at that moment in time."
  • Mind of Mine was the first ever album by a solo British male artist to debut at #1 in the USA. Zayn was also the first solo British male artist to top the Billboard 200 chart since 1988, when George Michael's Faith climbed to the summit in its ninth week on the tally.
