  • When you walked into the room
There was voodoo in the vibes
I was captured by your style
But I could not catch your eyes

    Now I stand here, helplessly
    Hoping you'll get into me

    I am so into you
I can't think of nothing else
    I am so into you
I can't think of nothing else

    Thinking how it's gonna be
Whenever I get you next to me
It's gonna be good, don't you know
    From your head to toe

Gonna love you all over, over and over
Me into you, you into me, me into you
I'm so into you, I'm so into you

When you walked into the room
There was voodoo in the vibes
I was captured by your style
But I could not catch your eyes

And now I stand here, helplessly, yeah
    Hoping you'll get into me

    I am so into you
I can't get to nothing else
I am so into you, baby
No, no, no come on baby
    I'm so into you
    Love the things you do

    Listen baby, driving me crazy
    Come on baby
    I'm so into you
    Love the things you do
    Come on baby
    I'm so into you

    I'm so into you, yeah
    I'm so into you

  • David CHey Big Honkette Fan, I heard the same .... that the feelin' wasn't exactly mutual. You picked a good time to visit Pikeville it was in its peak in the mid-to-late 70's and early 80's
  • Big Honkette Fan from New Albany, InHey David C, You are exactly right. Being "In The Business" for 50 years+ MANY people have been saying that since the tune was cut. I've also heard, not sure if true that Nix pursued but she would not reciprocate! By the way, Loved Pikeville in the 70's. The chicks loved to reciprocate there then! Rock ON!
  • David C from Pikeville, KyThis song was written about foxy Lynyrd Skynyrd backup singer Leslie Hawkins. When she "walked into the room", she had an immediate effect on Robert Nix.
  • Oliver Clothesoff from NyA high school acquaintance had a different intro for this:

"When you walked into the room,
There was voodoo in your glance.
I was captured by your style,
But I couldn't get in your pants."
  • Zen Dean from GeorgiaWhy is there an album on Spotify called So In To You, possibly a compilation, that has 1972 as a release date. If so this would predate the '76 version. Does Spotify have it wrong?
  • AnonymousI Love, just love this smooth seductive song!
  • Barry from Sauquoit, NyAtlanta Rhythm Section producer Buddy Buie died Saturday, July 18th, 2015 after suffering a heart attack. He was inducted into both the Georgia and Alabama Music Halls of Fame...
    May he R.I.P.
  • Bruce from San Jose, CaI love Seductive Music....songs that woo and court and try to entice. "I-am-sooooo-INTO YOU..." You can feel the emotion in it.
  • Valentin from Beijing, ChinaRIP Ronnie Hammond...
  • Barry from Sauquoit, NyARS had two records to make the Top 10; and both were lucky sevens. 'Imaginary Lover' and 'So In To You' both peaked at No. 7!!!
