  • Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on

    Far across the distance
    And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on

    Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time
    And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone

Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on

    Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

    You're here, there's nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
    We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart and
My heart will go on and on Writer/s: James Horner, Will Jennings

    Very Powerful Song.
  • Susie from Burnaby, BcOriginally several Titanic songs were written in french and included with the script. A decision was made however to keep these on a separate Celine Dion album and use only the english song and rest of the score. The story was based off of a newspaper article marking the day in history and how it affected the locals and those abroad with what had happened. Included was this one remark about a woman who fell in love at sea and lost him in the disaster. What isn't main stream knowledge was there was a heart shaped pendant that really existed. I was on a cruise with a bunch of people and got offered tickets by a studio which I had done some writing for under a wide range of pen names so I could maintain some privacy(you have NDA's and rep agreements with studios, actors, etc). Anyways on this cruise a prince of one of the arab countries gave someone a special piece of jewelry. It was a ruby heart which his grandpa had made for him(at the time due to its size it was a named gem). There was a problem family on this trip mostly due to the antics of their family member the actor (Jason) who was later known as Jonathan Brandis(Robbie Benson another one of their family was sort of behaving except for all the women). Jason stole the necklace and tossed it overboard. This didn't only made a few people mad. But also got his family in trouble for not dealing with his brat stage very well. I wasn't the only writer on this cruise. My cousins were too busy to go on it at the time.(Steven Spielberg, Leslie Anderson - voice acting/production, Lari, & Terri) So I went with some other family on the trip.

  • Karen from Manchester, NhI am #6 of 7 children, with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. At my parents' 50th anniversary party, when this song played, I danced with my father. It was the first time I had ever danced with my father (I didn't have a traditional wedding, so I had no "daddy/daughter" dance) and, as we danced, I sang along with this. It was also the first time I had ever sang to my father. Needless to say, the song holds a special place in my heart because of all that.
  • Bill from Pensacola, FlI can't believe the most amazing fact about this song is not here,
    This song almost didn't happen.
    according to IMDB trivia:

James Cameron was adamant about not including any song in the movie, even over the closing credits. No singing. But composer James Horner secretly arranged with lyricist Will Jennings to write it and singer Céline Dion to sing it, the tape was then presented to Cameron.
We all know what happened next.

Hopefully you know what i mean.
