  • Come my lady
    Come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
    Come my lady
    Come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby

Such a sexy, sexy pretty little thing
Fierce nipple pierce, you got me sprung with your tongue ring
And I ain't gonna lie 'cause your loving gets me high
So to keep you by my side, there's nothing that I won't try
Butterflies in her eyes and the looks to kill
Time is passing, I'm asking could this be real?
    'Cause I can't sleep, I can't hold still
The only thing I really know is she got sex appeal
I can feel, too much is never enough
You're always there to lift me up
When these times get rough, I was lost, now I'm found
    Ever since you've been around
You're the women that I want
So yo, I'm putting it down

Come my lady, come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
    I'll make your legs shake
    You make me go crazy
Come my lady, come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
    I'll make your legs shake
    You make me go crazy

I don't deserve you, unless it's some kind of hidden message
To show me life is precious
    Then I guess it's true
But to tell truth, I really never knew
'Til I met you, see, I was lost and confused
    Twisted and used up
Knew a better life existed but thought that I missed it
My lifestyle's wild, I was living like a wild child
Trapped on a short leash, paroled in police files
    So yo, what's happening now?
I see the sun breaking down into dark clouds
And a vision of you standing out in a crowd, so

Come my lady, come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
    I'll make your legs shake
    You make me go crazy
Come my lady, come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
    I'll make your legs shake
    You make me go crazy

Hey sugar mama, come and dance with me
The smartest thing you ever did was take a chance with me
    Whatever tickles your fancy
Girl, it's me and you like Sid and Nancy
So sexy, almost evil, talkin' 'bout butterflies in my head
I used to think that happy endings were only in the books I read but
You made me feel alive when I was almost dead
You filled that empty space with the love I used to chase
And as far as I can see, it don't get better than this
So butterfly, here is a song and it's sealed with a kiss
    And a thank you miss

    Come and dance with me
    Come and dance with me
    Come and dance with me
So come and dance with me
    Uh-huh, uh-huh

Come my lady, come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
    I'll make your legs shake
    You make me go crazy
Come my lady, come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
    I'll make your legs shake
    You make me go crazy
Come my lady, come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
    I'll make your legs shake
    You make me go crazy
Come my lady, come-come my lady
    You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
    I'll make your legs shake
    You make me go crazy

Come and dance with me (yeah)
    Come and dance with me
Come and dance with me (yeah)
    Come and dance with me
    Uh-huh, uh-huh
Come and dance with me (yeah)
    Come and dance with me
Come and dance with me (yeah)
    Come and dance with me
    Come and dance with me

  • Karalyn from A Star From Above, BrazilShifty, I also lived the tough 3 years of your breakup. The Butterfly you sing and write about is finally here. I am sorry it took me so long getting to you. You will know me better in our next encounter.

knowing you appreciate the view I shared of our breakage, I would like to give you a world not lived, seen; felt; heard or existed in, yet by you.

Appearing different but yet the same, you will know its me. Be patient until our paths take form and join as a one.
  • G from Potomac, Mdthe lead singer was on that lame Dr. Drew show, what a loser. VH-1 engineered it so that when they went to a big dance club this was playing over the PA and it was so obvious.
  • Mike from Hueytown , AlYeah this song didn't really hit big until like 2001. Cool song though
  • Alexandra from Belgrade, EuropeI like this song, the video is top
  • Shelly from Loserville, Nceven though pretty little ditty is like 2 minutes and has no words,it is just perfect ,suits this song...they did good im glad that they didnt sample from anything gay.claires right that list is made by potheads jk
  • Jess from Schofield, Withe allegory of 'sid and nancy' IS about sid vicious (bassist for sex pistols) and his girlfriend nancy spungen (aka nauseating nancy). she wasnt chopped up in lil pieces tho-she was found in their hotel room-room 100-with a knife in her stomach. he was arrested for it and admitted it and later attempted many times to take his own life. he eventually did die of a heroin overdose-prbly suicide. many believe they planned on killing themselves or dying together or something based on things he'd say. (lil bit of trivia for ya...and maybe some more context to that part of the song-or the song in general)
  • Sum Sum from New Delhi, Indiathe song is definitely a foot tapping one. this song is also in aol's hold on call.
  • Maria from Seminole, FlIm not possitive but i believe that they got kicked out of ozzfest...sharon osbourne never has anything possitive to say about this band....
  • Max from New York, NyYa, but Toxic was out much longer than 1 1/2 years. I remember seeing it like in 98. When did Butterfly come out?
  • Saralysette from Ashland, Orall right the lyrics girl you and me were like sid and nancy. that isn't a good thing! do you know what happend to Sid and Nancy? nancy was chopped up in little bitty peices!!! possibly by sid when he was on acid.....
  • Heather from Bristol, VaI like this song b/c its about how a girl makes a guys life better but yet she still has naughty qualities about her.

  • Claire from Oak Ridge, TnI can never be sure about whether or not this song deserved to be on "50 Most Awesomly Bad Songs Ever."
  • Elisabeth from N/a, InGirl, it's you like Sid and Nancy is a refrence to teh sex pistols Sid Vicious and his g/f Nancy
  • Caitlin from Sailsbury, Nci love this song they play it like every five minutes on the movie orange county
  • Kurt from Downers Grove, IlYeah, they got booed when they played this song at Ozzfest.
  • Bruce from Springfield, VaIf I rememeber corectly, Crazytown toured on Ozzfest for two years, sadly. I like the band, the music is decent, but their not Ozzfest material.
