  • Say my name, and his in the same breath
I dare you to say they taste the same
Let the leaves fall off in the summer
And let December glow in flames

    Erase myself and let go
Start it over again in Mexico
These friends, they don't love you
They just love the hotel suites, now

I don't care what you think
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness in misery
I said I don't care what you think
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness, in misery

    Ohh
    Ohh

Oh, take a chance, let your body get a tolerance
I'm not a chance, but a heat wave in your pants
Pull a breath like another cigarette,
Pawn shop heart trading up, trading up

I'm the oracle in my chest
Let the guitar scream like a fascist
Sweat it out, shut your mouth
Free love on the streets, but
In the alley it ain't that cheap now

I don't care what you think
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness in misery
I said I don't care what you think
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness, in misery

    Ohh
    Ohh

Mmh-mmh, I said, I don't care just what you think
As long as it's about me
I said I don't care just what you think
As long as it's about me
    I said I don't care (I don't care)
    I said I don't care (I don't care)
    I said I (I) don't (don't) care (care)
    I (I) don't (don't) care (no I don't)
    I don't care, (I said)
    I don't care, (I said)
    I (I) don't (don't) care (care)

I don't care what you think
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness in misery
I said I don't care what you think
As long as it's about me

  • Nobl-eIt's that disapproval of get-famous-any-means-possible people. Like This Ain't A Scene It's An Arms Race (or Bada Bing! Wit' A Pipe by Four Year Strong) it makes fun of people who just want to be famous, and those people don't deserve it- they don't really want to do something worthwhile. They don't care how they're perceived as long as people do know them. Bands like Fall Out Boy or Nirvana join music for something deep- other artists join to be famous, even if they are known to be nasty.
  • Anonymousdoes anyone think this song is used in a commercial. Like I haven’t seen anyone talk about it but it really sounds like a car commercial used this song for their ad. lmk if you seen it.
  • Vin from Brewster, Nythe chorus also is a line from the song "Drain You" by nirvana. One baby to another says I'm lucky to have met you
**I don't care what you think unless it is about me**
It is now my duty to completely drain you
  • D from Waterloo, Iaim with ya britt. i LOVE this song. one of my all time favs by one of my all time fav bands
  • Sphinx from Phinix, AzThis song is raaaaad, they are true americans bro!!!
  • Ruby from Melbourne, AustraliaAwsome Awsome song.
I THINK... i repeat i THINK the reason Sara Palin is at the end of the video clip is because at one point she made fun of FOB... so of course they made fun of her :b
  • Brittany from Townsville, AustraliaI LOVE THIS SONG coz its soooo kewl and hopefully soon people add thier coments and LOVE THIS SONG just as much as I do!!! ♥♥♥
