  • Tell me who you are
    Your father has forsaken you
    Left you with those scars
My hope is that you'll make it through
    Hate must never win
    Even when we're worlds apart
Your love is not a sin
    Even if it's hard
    Even when I'm far
    I will always be there

    Hold on my dear
    I'm coming home
    Don't let your fears
    Take control
    I can finally hear
    Her message loud and clear
    Hold on my dear
    I'm coming home

    Transmission from the stars
    A message from the atmosphere
    Etched into my heart
Your purpose there is still unclear
The ghost of you lives on
Through everything I see and touch
    Even when you're gone
    Even if it's hard
    Even when I'm far
    I will always be there

    Hold on my dear
    I'm coming home
    Don't let your fears
    Take control
    I can finally hear
    Her message loud and clear
    Hold on my dear
    I'm coming home

A fallen angel is what you are
    Your father has forsaken you
    Left you with those scars
    (Transmission override complete)
My hope is that you make it through (five)
    Hate must never win (four)
Even when we're worlds apart (three)
Your love is not a sin (two)
    Even if it's hard (one)
    (Initiating self-destruct sequence now)

    Hold on my dear
    I'm coming home
    Don't let your fears
    Take control
    I can finally hear
    Her message loud and clear
    Hold on my dear
    I'm coming home

    I'm coming home

  • Dana Danes from PublicWell after reading the first comment I'd say yeah it's a super artistic cold way to cop out of being with your kid..I love thus song I will always love falling in reverse no matter how much they change or people hate on rr but honestly I thought maybe he is an alien and he sending a message home...lil Wayne sais all the time ianahb...I don't believe in aliens but idk some weird s--t it kinda adds up what if the aliens are stuck here his talent is so good that I don't think he understands why he can't solidfy himself among the other rappers
  • Dawn from HoustonSo in other words his dreams are more important than leaving his daughter with scars he knows he is leaving on her.
  • Christina from Ontariowhen i first heard this song, i cried. i finally felt like somebody was looking out for me “i’m coming home.” this song gives me chills every single time i listen to it. it sends wonderful emotions to my heart. when i first heard this song, my thoughts were “somebody finally hears me...”
  • Seth from Joplin, MoWhen I first heard this song, It was a coaster of emotions that I felt. At the end of the song when he sung "I'M COMING HOME!", I felt that in a way I can't explain. It's like when your about to die, you're coming home.
  • Ty Swenson from Minnesota I think it’s about good people with a demon that makes them destroy themself and hurt others and the end is here andIf I don’t cast it out and accept divine love I’m stuck here and am never going to make it home.
  • Waddles from Texas Initially, this song really resonated w me. I knew I would love it after the first time I heard it. Feeling the emotions put out by Ronnie, I could tell how much this song meant to him. Finding out now that it was for his daughter only made sense.
I found my own meaning within Ronnie's lyrics that meant alot to me. Only a great song can bring upon so many emotions which seem to be deciphered at random moments after hearing the song once again.
