  • Camille from Toronto, OhI'm so glad Katy Perry wasn't a 'one-hit wonder' with her fabulous song 'I Kissed A Girl'. I love all of her hits. The empowering lyrics to this song are sheer, simple poetry. They express emotions we've all experienced, that of having to see a situation for what it really is, and not through rose-colored glassed, and the realization can be painful. However, a person can grow through the experience. The second time she sings "...till I woke up, on the conCRETE"...her voice conveys she is becoming stronger by the minute. The video is perfection as well. Just love everything about this tune!
