  • What if I told you
It was all meant to be
    Would you believe me?
    Would you agree?
    It's almost that feelin'
    We've met before
So tell me that you don't think I'm crazy
When I tell your love has come here and now

    A moment like this
    Some people wait a lifetime
    For a moment like this
    Some people search forever
    For that one special kiss
Oh, I can't believe it's happening to me
    Some people wait a lifetime
    For a moment like this

    Everything changes
    But beauty remains
    Something so tender
    I can't explain
    Well, I may be dreamin'
    But 'til I awake
Can't we make this dream last forever?
And I'll cherish all the love we share

    A moment like this
    Some people wait a lifetime
    For a moment like this
    Some people search forever
    For that one special kiss
Oh, I can't believe it's happening to me
    Some people wait a lifetime
    For a moment like this

Could this be the greatest love of all?
I wanna know that you will catch me when I fall
So let me tell you this
Some people wait a lifetime for a moment

    Like this
    Some people wait a lifetime
    For a moment like this
    Some people search forever
    For that one special kiss
Oh, I can't believe it's happening to me
    Some people wait a lifetime
For a moment (moment), like this

    Oh, (moment) like this
    (Moment like)
Oh, I can't believe its happening to me
    Some people wait a lifetime
    For a moment like this
Ooh, like this Writer/s: John Reid, Jorgen Elofsson

  • Nakabugo Salaamah from Kampala, ugandaI just like this song because its so tauching
  • AnonymousKelly, you're an awesome singer, and you pic awesome songs that show off your talent. Thank you for being so great, we love you
  • Brian from Boston, MaKelly has a nice voice I will give her that. But let me ask everyone a few questions. Why is American idol still on? Do we really need more singers? I think part of the problem is that we have too many. What we need are more musicians that are skilled in all aspects of music. There is more to being a good act than just a good voice.I think when a show like American Idol makes someone famous overnight and then hires a proffesional songwriter to give them a hit record this gives the singer no incentive to develop skills. There was a time when singers and bands had to start off small. They would play nightclubs and bars for many years. All these years improved their skills and as a result we the listeners got to listen to very talented singers and songwriters. There are literally thousands of people in the world with good voices but that alone should not get anyone a recording contract.Just look at all the mediocre music we have today. If kelly Clarkson did not sing this song they would have just given it to another American Idol contestant.
  • Theresa from Murfreesboro, TnCorny song but Kelly makes it work somehow. That voice - my fave winner.
  • Jessica from Oxford, United Kingdomwhy do american idol winners never release their songs in the uk =[ i'm waiting for david cook still!
  • Mikeisha from Washington, Dc, MdClarkson put a great deal of soul into this song. I love how the song relates to her winning "American Idol."
  • Jailene from K-town, WaDude, this song is the very reason I love Kelly.
