  • I can't believe summer's almost here
I made it through another year even if alone
But there's no tears in my eyes, life is still full of surprise
I'm not looking for a one night stand

I stand behind you and I watch you from a mile away
Wishing you could be the one but not here this way

I got to know your name
I must know who you are, yeah

I look at you and I know who you are
You're just a little bit too far from my home
But please don't get me wrong even though it has been long
I hope I never sing my last song without someone

I stand behind you and I watch you from a mile away
Wishing you could be the one but not here this way

I got to know your name
And I must know who you are, yeah

I stand behind you and I watch you from a mile away
I'm wishing you could be the one but not here this way

I'd like to know your name
And I must know who you are, yeah

  • Jeff Indigo from Chicago, IllinoisThis song has been through a myriad of tunings and playing styles. From standard tuning, half a step down, and currently a full step down (D standard). This song has been played live, in the studio, acoustic, and even for the most part acapella by their loving fans. This is the only King's X song to get a reprise as seen on their 2005 album "Ogre Tones".
  • Daniel Tice from SplendoraI have a Les Paul [Goldtop Deluxe]. This song made me think of her. I broke into playing in bands with her around me always. Now I mostly miss her because after all these years of playing, I'm unable to make music w/her much anymore because...uuh, um, She's So Heavy! Hence her name is [Goldilox].
