  • Why?
The question that is never far away
The healing doesn't come from the explained
Jesus please don't let this go in vain
    You're all I have
    All that remains

    So here I am
    What's left of me
    Where glory meets my suffering

    I'm alive
Even though a part of me has died
You take my heart and breathe it back to life
I'll fall into Your arms open wide
When the hurt and the healer collide

    Breathe
Sometimes I feel it's all that I can do
Pain so deep that I can hardly move
Just keep my eyes completely fixed on You
Lord take hold and pull me through

    So here I am
    What's left of me
    Where glory meets my suffering

    I'm alive
Even though a part of me has died
You take my heart and breathe it back to life
I'll fall into Your arms open wide
When the hurt and the healer collide

    It's the moment when humanity
    Is overcome by majesty
When grace is ushered in for good
And all our scars are understood
When mercy takes its rightful place
And all these questions fade away
When out of the weakness we must bow
And hear You say it's over now

    I'm alive
Even though a part of me has died
You take my heart and breathe it back to life
I'll fall into Your arms open wide
When the hurt and the healer collide

Jesus come and break my fear
Awake my heart and take my tears
    Find Your glory even here
When the hurt and the healer collide

Jesus come and break my fear
Awake my heart and take my tears
    Find Your glory even here
When the hurt and the healer collide

Jesus come and break my fear
Awake my heart and take my tears
Find Your glory even here Writer/s: BARRY GRAUL, BART MARSHALL MILLARD, JIM BRYSON, MICHAEL SCHEUCHZER, NATHAN COCHRAN, ROBIN SHAFFER

  • Sonya from VaThat outpouring of words is how you recognize the Holy Spirit's work. Often when I write, especially prayers, the words will pour out of my mind, thru the pen, and onto the paper, and not only will the words come so fast that I can barely keep up and I hope I can read it later! It also has a different authority to the words. It's me, but not me. The Lord once told me, "This is how I wrote the Bible."

I heard a Pastor once say, with regards to how God wrote the Bible through the human authors, that God didn't (and doesn't) violate the personality of the authors; what they wrote is in their own style - you can see Peter in his writings, and Paul in his. "Holy men of God wrote as they were carried along by the Spirit." Later, I may read something that was a collaboration between the Spirit and me, and it takes a moment to remember that I wrote it (or as I often say, I wrote it down).

I can see the fingerprints of my Master on it very clearly! It's quite humbling.
  • Crystal Tallent from Louisville, KyFor me I have and had to endure the daily struggle of pain that I have cause on myself and my loved ones. Its a constant reminder daily. When people judge you for your mistakes. Do not acknowledge the things that you have changed about yourself the pain that is behind being called in a junkier attic or you're crazy no one in my heart I'm none of that God has constantly reminded me that I've been saved so this song helps me because I went through so much pain and he is my healer and I believe in that today without Christ in my life I wouldn't be where I'm at today and that's still got to do more because I'm fully not recovered I know I have the fight in me I just got to have positivity and face my fears here's holding me back from being what I want to be I have so many dreams in so many goals but I feel like I'm not good enough for them I am on worst critic thank you for all you've done your songs are absolutely beautiful you're my favorite group. Love you guys. God Bless you!!!
