  • One fine day
    Love came for me
    When love was rare
    As love can be
    I saw stars
    Shining in clear blue skies
    We flow together
    Once and forever
    Love came for me

    One fine night
    Love let us see
    How far we'll go
    How good we'll be
    We saw a world
    No one ever saw before
    It was the world
    Love can start
With the beat of a heart
    Love came for me

    I saw stars
    Shining in clear blue skies
    We flow together
    Once and forever
    Love came for me

    One fine night
    Love let us see
    How far we'll go
    How good we'll be
    We saw a world
    No one ever saw before
    It was the world
    Love can start
With the beat of a heart
    Love came for me
    Love came for me
    Love came for me

  • Jeremy from TasmaniaI love this song and it was never officially released (the version with Rita Coolidge) that played at the end credits.
It only became later on a promo album of the film. Why did it never appear on a Rita Coolidge album? Did she not like the song? It never made sense as the song 'All Time High' from Octopussy, also sung by Rita, was made available on many recordings.
  • Jeff from Westerville, OhSplash was not Ron Howard's directorial debut. He directed a movie called Nightshift in 1981, starring Henry Winkler and introducing Michael Keaton.
