  • Don from DetroitIts melody was also in a move called The Rosary Murders filmed in Detroit 1987.
  • Jill from San Francisco, CaI love this song -- it was one of the tracks which made me buy the "Supernatural" CD -- so I was SHOCKED while watching the 1961 movie "Goodbye Again" with Ingrid Bergman, to hear this song's melody repeatedly played throughout...it's the movie's theme song, so I pulled out my "Supernatural" CD to check the writer credits and it just says Carlos and Dave - WTF!!!
  • Jill from San Francisco, CaI love this song so I was SHOCKED
  • Larryjohnny from Irvine, CaThanks for posting that bit about Brahms, Rodrigo and how Santana is playing classical music too! Wow, I was doing research on Brahms and at first thought it was a Sting song that I heard in the Symphony and then realized just a moment ago that it was Dave and Santana in Love of My Life tune.
I guess those great melodies live on forever, Brahms was an amazing composer and his soul and eternal melodies live on !
  • Derek from London, United KingdomHe wrote this after his father died. He said he'd not been listening to music, or playing any music and then he switched on the radio this came on. It's a great tribute to his father as his father taught him to play violin.
  • Neto from Los Angeles, CaThis is a very catchy tune. The melody lines are lifted from J. Brahms' Symphony No. 3 In F Major, Op. 90: 3. Poco Allegretto.
    C. Santana's concert in Los Angeles in October 2005 at the Home Depot closed with this composition. A wonderful closure as a slow but lyrical counterpoint to the wild and energetic performances toward the end of the concert. C. Santana has been listening to classical composers. He also played on classical guitar the Concierto de Aranjuez by Rodrigo during the concert.
  • Cookie from Greasy Lake, Njgreat song love the guitar
