  • Out of the ruins, out from the wreckage
Can't make the same mistakes this time
We are the children, the last generation
We are the ones they left behind
And I wonder when we are ever gonna change?
Living under the fear, till nothing else remains

    We don't need another hero,
We don't need to know the way home
All we want is life beyond the Thunderdome

Looking for something we can rely on
There's got to be something better out there.
Mmmm, love and compassion, their day is coming
All else are castles built in the air
And I wonder when we are ever gonna change?
Living under the fear, till nothing else remains.

    All the children say,
    We don't need another hero,
We don't need to know the way home
All we want is life beyond the Thunderdome

So what do we do with our lives?
    We leave only a mark.
Will our story shine like a light,
    Or end in the dark?
    Give it all or nothing!

    We don't need another hero,
We don't need to know the way home
All we want is life beyond the Thunderdome

    All the children say,
    We don't need another hero,
We don't need to know the way home

  • William Nelson from Planet EarthI've been searching the internet to find out who played that guitar in "We don't need another hero". What's the big secret? I get everything but an answer.
  • Dzo from AtlantaI kneel before the Queen
    The Queen of the dome
    With a voice of thunder
    This world you roamed
    I am but one
    One of many
    There's no comparison to you
    Not of any
    No one could hold
    A blaze to you
    As I look up
    I'm simply amazed by you
    With kindness from pain
    You hold your throne
    Only you could
    Only you alone
    I am but one
Of the army by your side
To see you to hear you
    It fills me with pride
    I kneel before the Queen
    The Queen of the dome
    This world may be yours
But my heart is your home.
    Faithfully yours Dzo.
  • Lalah from Wasilla, AkBeyond Thunderdome was the best of the Mad Max movies and it was thanks to "aunti" Tina. This song had more of a plot than the movie but it had Mel Gibson. I actually watched her more than Mel. Dang!
