  • Does it feel the same
    When he calls your name
And does it feel the same
    When you play the game
    Of love

    When he holds you tight
    Does it feel alright
Just like it used to do
    When I was with you
    Making love to you

    This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
    This burning heart in me
    Won't let me be

    After all this time
    You still haunt my mind
I just can't seem to find
    The peace of mind
    I need so bad

    Does it feel the same
    When he calls your name
And does it feel the same
    When you play the game
    Of love

    This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
    This burning heart in me
    Won't let me be
    Won't let me be

    This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
    This burning heart in me
    Won't let me be

    Solo

    This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
    This burning heart in me
    Won't let me be
    Won't let me be

    This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
    This burning heart in me
    Won't let me be

Oooh, won't you let me be

  • James from Diamond Bar Ca Incredible - one of the greatest records I've ever heard
  • Melissa from Chaguanas, Trinidad And TobagoTHIS IS A REALLY GREAT ROCK N ROLL SONG... I LOVE IT... VERY CLASSICAL VERY GOOD MUSIC AND VOCALS IT REALLY TAKES ME BACK
  • Ellen from Baxter Springs, KsI agree with Joshua. This is a great song. Great guitar and voice. I love this song. I can't believe it wasn't a huge hit. I remember loving it back in the day, but never paid attention to it's ranking. This is really the father of power ballads not Motley Crue's song and it doesn't make me feel dirty after hearing it!
  • Joshua from La Crosse, Wi"This burning heart of mine/Only got to #39..." A shame really, because this is one of the most underrated songs of the 1980s in my book. This is what a hard-rock power ballad should sound like, as opposed to the lame and sappy songs that passed themselves off as power ballads later in the decade, like Aerosmith's "Angel" and Motley Crue's "Without You".
