I asked my love to give me shelter And all she offered me were dreams Of all the moments spent together That move like never ending streams
Run through the light Now everything is alright Run through the light of day Run to the light of nights
And every movement made together Till every thought was just the same And all the pieces fit forever In the game
The lights run through the lights Now everything is alright Run through the light of day You run to the light of night
Run to the light Run to the light Run to the lights, to the lights
I asked my love to give me shelter And all she offered me were dreams (Run through the lights) Of all the moments spent together (Run to the lights) That move like never ending streams (Run through the lights) (Run to the lights)
Welcome to the light Now everything is okay You run through the light of night You come to the light of day

David from Apex, NcI can't remember if I am the one who supplied some of these song facts above, but if so, I was wrong about the Squire bass trivia. There are some songs on Union where Squire does not play bass, those are played by Tony Levin. Also someone in the comments said that Drama was the only Yes album without Anderson on vocals. The last two Yes studio albums also share that distinction of not having Jon on vocals.
Steve from Torrance, CaOn this track only from the Drama album, drummer Alan White does not play any cymbals, giving his drumming a futuristic, heavy, ominous sound. During the same year (1980), Peter Gabriel recorded his entire third album without using any cymbals. Both that album and Yes' Drama were engineered by Hugh Padgham and recorded at Town House Studios in London.
Joshua from Twin Cities, MnThe Yes lineup for this album was essentially a merger between the remains of the original Yes and the Buggles (of "Video Killed The Radio Star" fame). Yes then broke up, the Buggles briefly reformed and then they broke up, and then Yes reconstituted itself with Anderson back as the frontman and Horn as their producer.
Max from Sydney, Australiadoes the original version of this song go for 4 minutes or 6 minutes?!?
Max from Sydney, Australiai like the "I asked my love to give me she-e-e-elter..."
Max from Sydney, AustraliaDrama Is the ONLY album that Jon Anderson didn't sing or play on.
Kent Lyle from Palo Alto, CaThis song showed Yes heavily under the influence of the Police at the time. Pretty much everyone was.
