  • Singer/songwriter Nick Hexum wrote this about his friend David Barker, who committed suicide. The title of the song is a reference to some of David's e-mails where he mentioned a "cloud of darkness" in his life. >>

  • Sheila from RiversideLove this song... Never really listened to the words or understood it until I lost my brother to suicide. It's a beautiful song.
And no, "potheads" are generally not ones to take their lives.
"Couldn't take it like a man"... You haven't got a clue!!!
I don't know anyone strong enough to survive the hell my brother did as long as he did.
Be careful judging, you just may wind up walking in the shoes of the person you judge.
  • Chris from Omaha, Nethis song is a song about people that have came to their end. i had a close friend end his own life and had this song playing on repeat when he was found. this song is something that can only relate to certain people that have lived through this loss in life. nick is a great lyrical person. allthough i find suicide and easy way out in life, this song holds much love in my heart.
