  • The Against Me! frontwoman formerly known as Tom Gabel first experienced extreme dysphoria before his teens. Severely depressed, by the age of 13 he was experimenting seriously with drugs including marijuana, LSD, and cocaine and would go on to struggle with addiction for years. Laura Grace told NME that this song, "is about gender dysphoria and drug addiction, and the romance I've had with the two for my whole life."
