  • Singer Brittany Howard told NME: "I used to be a little girl and I was free and naïve and innocent and now I'm older and things will never look the same as they used to."

    She added: "I played drums a lot during that song, I wrote it almost out of my register completely, but it had to be sung that way."
  • The song's intimate video was directed by Jane Pollard, and filmed at Konk Studios, which is owned by Kinks' singer Ray Davies.
