  • Anna Wappel, known professionally as Anna F., was born in the small Austrian town of Friedberg to a teacher couple.
  • Music has been Anna's life since she was a child. At family gatherings, there was always music and singing. Her younger sister Kathi sang as a background singer in her first band and played the flute. "My dream has always been a career with music or as a sports reporter," she told Kurier.
  • Anna studied English and Italian philosophy and literature in Graz while working weekends at an ATV sports editorial office in Vienna.
  • She began her music career in 2009 with her debut single, "Time Stands Still." Anna's debut album, For Real, was released in 2010 and reached #3 on the Austrian albums chart.
  • Alongside her music career, Anna F. is also an actress. She made her acting debut in Dito Tsintsadze's 2012 feature film Invasion.
