This is the title track of American R&B singer-songwriter Anthony Hamilton's seventh album, which was released on December 13, 2011. Hamilton explained the title: "We live our life, day to day, month to month, year to year, doing so much that we forget the love, the people around us, the things around us, and just life itself. I want to remind people that it's okay to be in love with yourself and the loved ones in your life."
Jimi Hendrix opened for The Monkees on their 1967 tour, and it did not go well. The young, mostly female crowd shouted "Davy" when Hendrix sang the word "Lady" in "Foxy Lady" in honor of who they came to see: Monkees lead singer Davy Jones.
Lily Allen wrote "Something's Not Right" for the soundtrack of the Peter Pan prequel, Pan. The song was inspired by the heartache that Allen experienced after suffering a miscarriage when she was six months pregnant with her first child by husband Sam Cooper in 2010.
