  • Like the album's single "Birds Of A Feather," "Walk Through Fire" was inspired by the enduring friendship between Bedouin Soundclash bandmates Jay Malinowski (vocals, guitar) and Eon Sinclair (bass).

"The song is about not worrying about the knocks, the fires, the destruction that can happen in our lives, and that we can walk through it if we don't lose track of each other," Malinowski explained in a track-by-track commentary. "It's a reflection of the longtime bond Eon and I have. Sometimes I don't think we understand it. We can say a lot to each other without saying much."
  • In a 2022 Songfacts interview, Malinowski shed light on his thought process behind writing the verses. "In terms of what I was thinking - especially with the verses - at this point right now when I talk to my friends and you see society at large, two people can witness the same thing and be on completely different sides of an issue," he said.

"But, if they talk about it in just adjectives, they think that they're talking about the exact same thing. Although they're falling on the totally different ends of the spectrum. It's like we're having a similar experience, but hanging on totally different polarities of an issue."
  • This features guest vocals from Aimee Allen of the LA ska-punk band The Interrupters. "We love her voice so much," said Malinowski. "It's strong and fragile at the same time. We first met them on their Californian tour after we had been away for a long time. Their band has an inspiring energy."
  • We Will Meet In A Hurricane is Bedouin Soundclash's sixth studio album. It finds the band returning to their folk-punk roots after the sonic departure of their previous album, Mass, a largely guitarless collection that featured the Preservation Hall Jazz Band of New Orleans.
