  • The title of Best Coast's third album, Californian Nights, is a nod to singer Bethany Cosentino's struggles with insomnia, something she addresses specifically on this hazy track. "A lot of the songs on the record, and Best Coast songs in general, have come from that place when I'm awake at like 3 or 4 in the morning and I'm like, 'OK, I'm going to write a song,'" she told Radio.com.
