Songfacts®:

  • Betty Moon describes this song as "a mix of pop and dark melodies, with chugging guitars, and a chorus which may resonate with many women... and men for that matter."

Regarding the lyric, she adds: "Infidelity is a great topic to reflect on and poke fun at and I wanted the listener to be able to make it their own. I think you'll like the quirky sound that has organically developed on it. It's 'always fun' hint, hint. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed making it."
  • "My Only One" is the first single from Betty Moon's 10th album, Cosmicoma, which she produced herself and released on her own label, Evolver Music. This song has an electro feel, but Moon has been all over the map musically, playing mostly rock as a teenager in Toronto and studying jazz music at Humber College. She eventually made her way to Los Angeles and makes a lot of music for TV and film.
