Sumthin's Gotta Give

Album: single release only (2008)
  • This politically driven song features Mary J. Blige.
  • Big Boi explained to some media insiders why he chose to release this as his first single from his Sir Luscious Leftfoot ... Son of Chico Dusty album. Billboard magazine reported him saying: "I chose this song first because being in the game, I feel a responsibility to entertain but also lecture about life. I'd rather get people to vote instead of running to the strip club." Big Boi is best known for being one half of the Hip Hop duo Outkast.
  • The music video features guest appearances from Hill Harper (of CSI:NY) and the musician and songwriter John Legend.
  • When Sir Luscious Left Foot: Son Of Chico Dusty was finally released on July 6, 2010, this song was not included on the tracklist.
