Songfacts®:

  • Blake Shelton penned this uptempo, country-fied track about an unlikely friendship for The Angry Birds Movie. The film is based on the titular smartphone game, in which players sling birds at pigs. "I can write things about myself and my life," Shelton reflected of penning the song. "But I don't have a whole lot of experience being shot out of a slingshot at pigs."
  • Shelton also voices a country-boy pig called Earl in the movie. He said: "They kept saying, 'More country!' I felt like I was doing a voice-over for Dukes of Hazzard."
