  • This is the opening song on Breaking Benjamin's Dark Before Dawn album. Both this cut and the outro track, "Dawn," were penned by guitarist Jason Rauch. Before joining Breaking Benjamin in late 2014, former Red axeman Rauch also co-wrote four cuts on their 2009 Dear Agony album, including "I Will Not Bow" and "Lights Out."
  • Dark Before Dawn debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, Breaking Benjamin's first album to top the survey. The group's previous chart peak was #2 for 2006's Phobia.
  • Dark Before Dawn sold 141,000 units in its first week, the best single-week sales mark of the band's career.
