We Fall Down

Album: The Noise We Make (2001)

  • Chris Tomlin wrote this popular praise song and first released it on his 2001 album The Noise We Make. It has since appeared on many compilations, and also appeared on Tomlin's 2011 collection, How Great Is Our God: The Essential Collection. In our interview with Chris Tomlin, he told us that most songs take a while for him to write, but not this one. Said Tomlin, "'We Fall Down' was the first song that I published and started finding its way around the churches, and that was a song that came really, really fast."
