Hot Stuff (Let's Dance)

Album: Trust Me (2007)
Charted: 7

  • This is based extensively around samples from David Bowie's 1983 transatlantic chart topper "Let's Dance." Craig David recalled in the Daily Mail November 16, 2007: "We sent it off to Bowie, half-expecting him to refuse permission for us to use it, but he loved it. He was impressed that we approached the song in our own way."
  • This proved to be one of Craig David's most successful singles, reaching the Top 10 in a number of European countries including Bulgaria (where it got to #1), Denmark, Finland, Portugal and Turkey.
