Songfacts®:

  • One of the most popular songs by the Christian Rock band Daniel Amos, "I Love You #19" was written by their lead singer/guitarist Terry Taylor, who started writing it after coming up with the guitar riff, which was the basis for the song. So why is it #19? Taylor told us: "I did a little investigating back then and found out that at the time there were officially 18 published songs titled I Love You. Mine was number 19, thus the title."
