Songfacts®:

  • This midtempo ballad finds Demi teaming up with R&B singer-songwriter Jason Derülo to deliver an inspirational message about uniting to change the world. The song was recorded in Derülo's hometown of Miami in the middle of night after a mutual friend of the pair contacted him to see if he wanted to hook with Demi. "I came down to visit my grandfather for a day, so I went in at like 3 a.m. and we knocked it out," Derülo recalled to MTV News. "We were there till about 9 in the morning, but it was really cool."
  • The song was co-written by Demi along with Timbaland and one of his producers Jim Beanz (Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado).
