Songfacts®:

  • This song features Eliza Doolittle on vocals. The London-based pop/folk singer-songwriter is the daughter of stage director John Caird and musical theatre actress Frances Ruffelle and had some success as a solo artist clocking up Top 40 hits with "Skinny Genes" and "Pack Up."
  • The Luke Monaghan directed music video sees a couple travelling across Europe. The pair are played by actress Lauren Johns who also starred in the visual for Deliah's "Breathe" and freerunner Timothy Shieff , who is best known for winning the 2009 Barclaycard World Freerun Championship. "I wanted to make a video that was charming and real" Monaghan told Promo News. "I wanted it to feel like we were stumbling in on this couple's journey.
"There's a narrative in there, but it was more about a feeling when you watch the video," he continued. "Hopefully the vibes of young love, freedom and companionship, come through. I didn't want anyone doing heroin in a bath in this video, just good times and dildos, man."
  • Disclosure's Guy Lawrence told The Sun that it was his brother and bandmate Howard who likes Eliza Doolittle's voice and suggested her for this tune. "I didn't know anything about her," he admitted. "I'd seen her on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and knew she makes folky pop. I didn't know if it would work but Howard was right, it worked out ok."
