Songfacts®:

  • This was originally released in late 2014 as a promotional single featuring Fetty Wap's Remy Boyz colleague Monty. The track was later remastered and released as a commercial single on July 17, 2015, prompting a huge leap on the Hot 100 from #87 to #7.
  • Canadian rapper Drake remixed the song in May 2015. Fetty told Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning how Kanye West got involved in connecting him to the Toronto MC. "Honestly, Kanye texted me and told me that he gave Drake my number," he explained. "And then I was going through my Instagram, I seen it in the DM and Drake hit me, like 'Yo, bro, I'm trying to get to you,' and I sent him my number ASAP."

Fetty went on to voice his respect for the way Drake contacted him to get his approval before hopping on the track instead of doing an unauthorized version. "It was just way different," he said, "I wasn't expecting that. The way [Drake] even asked me like, 'Yo, can I bless the track? Do I have your blessings for it?' I'm reading this like, 'Is it him or somebody else talking for him?' Next thing you know, he FaceTimed me like, 'Yo, I'm in the club. They bumpin' it right now.'"
