  • This was originally written by Grace Jones with the English Trip-Hop artist Tricky in 1997 for an album that was never completed. It was released as a White Label 12-inch single. Ten years later Jones re-recorded the song as the title track of her 2008 album.
  • Hurricane was Jones' first studio album release for 19 years. Her previous offering, Bulletproof Heart, came out in 1989.
