  • In an interview with Star Polish, Buckcherry lead singer Josh Todd said: "9/11 kind of kicked me off into this big war phase, so I got all of these books. I read The Art of War and Bay of Pigs. All of a sudden I just wanted to read about war. It was just something to do at the time because I'm always reading. That song is about a combination of both those books, and the pain and the beauty involved, and the victory, that type of thing. I tried to capture it all in one song. I love that song."
